5'10 x 11'5 Vintage Hand-Knotted Chinese Area Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Chinese area rug. This rug features a deep orange field ornamented with sage green, cerulean, cobalt, and lemon yellow figural motifs and a floral medallion at the center. The center field is trimmed by a a geometric minor border in cerulean and sienna, beyond which is a resolved border containing a repeating floral pattern in cobalt, cerulean, petal pink, and coral on a butter yellow ground. The rug is finished with a single-wrapped selvage on both sides and an overcast edge with natural warp fringe to both ends.
