An antique oil painting on a wood panel of a pastoral landscape. Portrayed with meticulous realistic detail, this work features a gathering of farm animals in a green landscape including sheep and cows; a girl also sits with a dog in the left middleground. Unsigned, the work is presented in an antique gilt and gesso frame with elaborate foliate moulding and large acanthus leaves in the corners.

Condition

- small nicks and spots of paint loss present to upper left; wear in frame includes small chips, stains, scratches, and finish loss scattered throughout.
