An alabaster portrait bust of a young girl attributed to Pietro Bazzanti (Italian, 1842-1881). The half-length sculpture depicts a young girl with curls in her hair shyly tilting her head towards her right shoulder. Her hands are placed on her ruffled collar and the bust rests on a round socle. The back is signed ‘P. Bazzanti Florence’.
