A marble and banded agate chess set. This chess set features a square chess board comprised of squares in marble and banded agate. The chess board also includes carved figural pieces comprised of marble and agate. The marble is presented in a smokey gray with naturally occurring bands of black. There is no discernible maker’s mark.
