A grouping of antique and vintage photographs of African American figures circa the 19th and 20th Centuries. Included are stereographs, postcards and gelatin silver photographs depicting working scenes, military scenes, families, portraits and scenes of everyday life. Featured is a postcard of minister and Civil Rights activist Martin Luther King Jr. (1929 – 1968) marching for striking workers in Memphis, Tennessee on March 18, 1968. The photographs are all presented unframed.
