German Schatz Mounted "Royal Mariner" Clock with Compensated Precision Barometer
Item Details
A German Schatz mounted Royal Mariner clock with barometer. This piece offers a nautical style clock and barometer each with a brass case and a glass front mounted on a molded slab of oak. The 24-hour clock displays black Arabic numbers, a chapter ring, two key arbors, and spade tipped hands, marked ‘Schatz Royal Mariner’, ‘7 Jewels’, ‘Made in West-Germany’. The barometer displays weather conditions to the top portion, and a temperature gauge to the lower portion in both Celsius and Fahrenheit. There is a key included and hanging hardware to the verso.
