A vintage hand-knotted Persian Mir Sarouk room size rug. The rug features a latticed mir-a-boteh field in russet with compound border. The primary pictorial border is seraband illustrating the harvesting of barley grain. The rug is woven in palette of russet, red, cream, blue, teal, tan, and indigo. The rug is finished with natural cotton warp fringe and is unsigned.
