This work is numbered 173 out of an edition of 200 in graphite to the lower left; it is titled to the lower center, and signed by hand in graphite to the lower right. A blind stamp is marked to the lower left. Presented under glass with off-white matting, it is housed in a gold-tone gesso and wood frame with a faux marbleized brown liner.
Born in France, Edouard was a painter, printmaker, and designer, known for his dynamic expressionistic compositions that often featured vibrant colors. His work has been collected by the Museum of Modern Art, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and the Museum of Modern Art in Paris, among other renowned art institutions.
