A color lithograph on paper titled Petit Andolouse by Louisiana-based artist Caroline Durieux (1896-1989). This work is titled in graphite to the lower left and signed in graphite to the lower right. Presented under glass with beige matting, it is housed in a gilt and gesso wood frame with foliate molding. A frame label is adhered to the verso.

Caroline Wogan Durieux studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and worked with Diego Rivera who also painted her portrait. She was especially known for her lithography, electron printing, cliché verre, and socially satirical work. She was Professor Emeritus of Fine Arts at Louisiana State University University, and her work has been collected by the Museum of Modern Art, the LSU Museum of Art, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art, among other institutions.
