A 19th-century Chinese scroll painting, comprised of watercolor, gouache, and ink wash on fabric. Featuring an elderly man, a stork, and budding tree branch, this work is marked with a red seal and a calligraphic inscription (大…) to the lower right; the painted image is surrounded by a green brocaded border. Presented under glass, the work is housed in a gold-tone gesso and wood frame.

Condition

- minor snags and runs scattered throughout fabric; small faint stains scattered throughout scroll; wear in frame includes stains, scratches, and finish loss scattered throughout.
