A vintage Gerz German character ceramic pitcher. This piece features an embossed, hand-painted design of a male figure with hat, coat, and striped pants and is labeled with a saying to the center that translates to ‘pure wine and good beer are the host’s favorite’. The underside bears the maker’s mark, placing production between 1949-1990.

- some wear to underside, scrap piece of clay stuck to underside during firing, light wear.
