Sailing Ship Models Of "Gorch Fock" and "Pamir"
Item Details
A pair of sailing ship models, including a vintage wood model ship based on the German Gorch Fock. This ship rests on an oak wood base with a metal plaque attached and is based on the German three-mast ship, the first of a series built as school ships for the German Reichsmarine in 1933. A sister ship was built in 1958. The other ship is a model of the Pamir, which was a German commercial sailing ship that operated during the first half of the 20th century. This model has a navy hull, with a wood grain deck. Its sails are white with black pinstripes.
