A handwoven Mexican Zapotec-style wool area rug. This flatweave rug is rendered in a palette of black, ivory, turquoise, crimson, and silver. The black hued field begins with a rectilinear side pendant medallion flanked with a pair of similar pendant medallions to each end. Framing the open field is a band of stripes to the ends, while finishing with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
