This piece uses thinned paints and scratching into the surface to depict a flat landscape of browning grasses scattered with trees and other foliage under a clear blue sky. It is signed to the lower right and appears to read ‘N. Sankomb.’ The work is presented behind a mat and glass in a gold tone wood frame with string to the verso for hanging.

- discoloration on adhesive along edges on verso of frame.
