Artist James Wright Signed Affirmed Print

A full-color print featuring Steve Cauthen and his ride Affirmed, signed by artist James Wright. Steve is shown sitting on his ride Affirmed; Affirmed won the Triple Crown of horse racing in 1978, Steve was the jockey. ‘Best Wishes Steve Cauthen’ is a facsimile signature. James signed the print ‘My Very Best Wishes’ with a pencil in the lower right corner. ‘Steve Cauthen & Affirmed’, and ‘Triple Crown Winner 1978’ was handwritten on the sides of the printed ‘Kentucky Derby’ banner. The artist’s signature was not authenticated.
