Item Details

A vintage hand-knotted Persian Tabriz wool palace sized runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, wheat, goldenrod, sepia, powder blue, slate blue, rose, sage, and mocha. The ivory colored field features a garden design densely filled with flowering and leafy vines along with bird motif throughout. Framing the field is a main floral meander border, along with geometrically shaped guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled ‘Made by Hand in Iran’.
