A semi-antique handwoven and embroidered Anatolian tribal area kilim. This wool and goat hair flatweave rug is rendered in an abrash palette of madder red, clementine, ivory, cobalt, sepia, fern, and mocha. The madder red hued field features a block pattern with comb edges in an array of contrasting colors. Framing the field is a stepped diagonal striped border, along with a laleh abbasi border, and embroidered elem panels to each end. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a goat hair warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
