A handwoven and hand-knotted Moroccan Berber wool long rug. This rug features both a flatweave and pile ground, rendered in a palette of ivory, black, madder red, saffron, violet, and slate. The field features a block design with black and ivory striped boxes in a flatweave, accented with knotted geometric symbols, while framed in bold bands of stepped patterned borders throughout the field, as well as serving as the main outer border. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
