A Shona style fruit serpentine carving by R.J. Dodza. This realistic bust presents a figure with a smiling expression, wearing a necklace and headband. The work is inscribed by hand toward the lower edge, with a label with artist information to the underside and a label reading ‘Kaguvi’. It is presented on a square-shaped clear resin base. Fruit serpentine earns the name due to its colorful hues and striaes found within the rock.
