Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Nepalese carved wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of sand, black, burnt orange, ivory, gold, and apricot. The sand hued field features stripes of black vine-work with palmettes and leaves, while framed in a main black grounded stylized herati border, along with a pair of meandering guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled. Please see 18CHI128-035 for a coordinating item.
