Mid Century Modern "Dog Biscuit" Side Chairs by Heywood-Wakefield
Item Details
A set of four vintage Dog Biscuit side chairs by Heywood-Wakefield. Originally designed in the 1930s by Count Alexis de Sakhnofsky and slightly modified later by W. Joseph Carr, these birch framed pieces have an iconic ‘dog bone’ back, open to the center and raised on angled supports. These chairs have their light colored upholstery with geometric design. The Heywood-Wakefield brand and original law labels are on the underside.
