Sawyier (1865-1917), an American artist primarily known for landscapes, lived and worked in Frankfort, Kentucky and chose central Kentucky as the focus of his work. This offset lithograph depicts a man in a houseboat talking to a with a man in a rowboat near the front on a calm river with trees. Piece has an in plate signature in the lower left corner and is numbered 587/2500. The print is presented unframed, with a certificate of authentication from Paul Sawyier Galleries.
