Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kerman area rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in a palette of aqua, rose, gold, and ivory and centered with a floral pendant medallion. The curvilinear field is interrupted by an inward facing border comprised of arabesqued foliage, clusters of floral blooms, and intricate palmettes. It is finished with overcast selvedges and two layers of cotton warp fringe. A label to the reverse reads ‘Made in Iran’.
