A reproduction plater sculpture after Sleeping Infant by Flemish artist Artus Quellinus I (1609-1668). The work is after an original carved ivory sculpture in the collection of the Walters Art Museum. The piece is marked in mold with an inscription on the side and with a sticker for the Walters on the base.

Condition

- sculpture is dirty; chip out of the baby’s bed on the back side; gold tone wood base showing nicks and scratches.
