A cast paper composition by listed Cincinnati artist Ruth Rolfsen (1928 – 2018). This work features a minimalist landscape rendered with pressed cotton pulp. It is signed to the lower right and includes an informational label to the verso.

Ruth Rolfsen was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and is known for her diverse printmaking skills. She graduated from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and produced a prolific collection of intaglios, serigraphs, cast paper sculptures, mixed media drawings, and lithographs throughout her life. Rolfsen’s work has been exhibited at the WCET Art Gallery and is privately collected.
