A collection of three pressed paper and string compositions by listed Cincinnati artist Ruth Rolfsen (1928 – 2018). This set contains minimalist paper compositions, the smallest of which features fuchsia tones and interwoven string. They are all unsigned.

Ruth Rolfsen was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and is known for her diverse printmaking skills. She graduated from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and produced a prolific collection of intaglios, serigraphs, cast paper sculptures, mixed media drawings, and lithographs throughout her life. Rolfsen’s work has been exhibited at the WCET Art Gallery and is privately collected.
