Vintage Hobbyist Painted Pouyat Limoges Pitcher and Hall Ball Jug
Item Details
A pairing of vintage serveware. Featured is a hobbyist painted Jean Pouyat Limoges pitcher with a fruit design to the mottled red and cream ground and beading to the angled handle. It was produced in France between 1891-1932 and is marked ‘J.P.L. France’ to the underside along with the painter’s initials. Also included is a Hall ball jug with orange flowers to the pale yellow ground ca. 1930-60’s.
Condition
- some discoloration and fading throughout; gilt finish worn in some areas.
