Chinese Ginger Jar

A Chinese ginger jar. This piece is decorated with peacocks and floral motifs in hues of green and yellow on a red ground with a fitted lid adorned with a round finial. The backside displays black character inscriptions, while the underside is stamped with a four character mark.
