Item Details
A pair of Chinese hand-painted ceramic rice bowls with lids decorated by Tang Zizhen (唐子楨). Each bowl features a pictorial scene depicting females in an outdoor setting to the bowl and the lid. The undersides are marked ‘Painted by Tang Zizhen’ (唐子楨畫) and date to the late Qing dynasty (1644-1911) or the early Republic period (1912-1949).
