Antique Eastlake Walnut Cylinder Roll Top Desk

Item Details

An antique Eastlake cylinder roll top desk. The desk features a solid walnut frame and burl walnut veneer cylinder top. The cylinder desk top rolls back to reveal a pull out writing surface and divided organizational area. The interior of the writing surface is painted a vermilion red. Below the desk portion is a single drawer and two doors with burl wood panels and original brass hardware. The drawers feature knapp joinery, a technique primarily used between 1871-1905. The item is unmarked by maker.
