An illustrated children’s poem titled The Little Shepherdess to Her Lambs. The piece features the Rose Fyleman poem toward the center of its upper edge and depicts a young girl playing a flute for a small flock, trees to either side of her filled with birds and other watching figures. The poem comes from Golden Book of Poetry published in 1947 by Simon & Schuster. The print, marked with the page number 79 to its lower margin, is double-matted in a wooden frame with hanging hardware to its verso.
