6' x 10' Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian Kashan Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan wool rug. It features a large central pendant medallion within a large stepped lozenge, in a palette of blues, blush, pale green, and yellow with navy on an off-white field. It has matching decorative spandrels and is framed by a wide primary border having a meandering palmette pattern in a coordinating color scheme. The main border is banded by a compound guard border system with florals and filler palmettes. It has overcast edges with very short natural warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
