A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Bakhshayesh Heriz wool runner. This runner is rendered in a palette of ivory, black, yellow, powder blue, peach, and sepia. The ivory colored field features five central medallions along with a foliate pattern throughout. Framing the field is a geometrically patterned samovar border, and a sawtooth guard border. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a natural warp fringe to the ends. Unlabeled.
