4' x 5' Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian Senneh Bijar Rug

Item Details

A vintage hand-knotted Persian Senneh Bijar rug. The rug displays a diamond medallion in pale blue, salmon, and ecru over an indigo field. The medallion and field are decorated with a dense, allover foliate pattern in a palette of rust, blue, cream, and dark green. Surrounding the field is a principal turtle border with scarlet ground and flanking floral minor borders with light blue grounds. Either end of the rug is finished with cotton warp fringe ends. Unmarked.
