Antique "Bee Sting" Salt Glazed Stoneware Crocks
Item Details
A selection of two antique cobalt blue decorated salt-glazed stoneware crocks. These two include a lighter grey stoneware crock with a late 19th century watch spring design on the front and two ear handles and a two gallon crock marked with a ‘2’ and an infinity design to the front. Both are lined with a chocolate brown Albany type interior slip. No discernible maker’s marks are visible.

- some areas near bottom missing salt glaze, large chip from bottom of larger crock; smaller crock has area of firing discoloration near lower right of front, spiderweb crack to back.
