Antique Seth Thomas Pendulum Clock

Item Details

An antique Seth Thomas upright pendulum clock. The clock has a wooden case with brass works, a white enameled metal face and a reverse painted glass door. The case has columns on each side that are stained to give them a mottled look and have remnants of gold tone on the crowns. It has a paper label for ‘Seth Thomas / Thomaston Conn / Warranted Good’ affixed behind the pendulum.

Condition

- one front column is loose; untested.
- one door hinge is detached from frame but still present
- clock face is loose
- some chipping to clock face and decorative painting
- some veneer loss
- weights are not present
