Vintage Ladderback Arm Chair

Item Details

A vintage American Colonial style ladderback arm chair. The chair has traditional horizontal arched rails to the back with incised detailing between round posts with tall brass capped finials. The top rail is embellished with brass bands to each side. The chair has a cushioned and upholstered seat over turned legs to the front terminating with brass and glass ball and claw feet and curved legs to the back with molded brass feet. The chair is unmarked.

Condition

- to good; scratches and marks to the finish from age and use; brass shows tarnish.
