A ceramic bust of Beatrice from Dante’s Inferno. This reproduction piece features a figure wearing a cape, crown and headscarf, on a low base with the word ‘Beatrice’ in relief to the front edge. There are no apparent maker’s marks.
Condition
- some scuffs and chips to finish; small chip to tip of crown; accretion to underside of piece.
