Item Details
A hand-knotted Indo-Persian wool room sized rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, ivory, taupe, powder blue, sage, olive, rose, and mocha. The cranberry colored field features an allover design of scrolling vine-work of palmettes, flowers, and lancette leaves. Framing the field is a main ivory grounded stylized herati border, as well as floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
