1922 Victrola "Humpback" Talking Machine

A 1922 Victor Victrola Wurlitzer phonograph “hump-back” style console, model 240, with mahogany cabinet and trademark domed lid opening to turntable, operated by a handle crank to the right. Turntable is labeled to the upper right corner with a metal tag identifying the model “VV240” and serial number 31364. Model has semi-automatic brake and a two-spring motor. The cabinet below the turntable has divided compartments for storage with door access panels to the front. According to Victor Victrola this model had relatively low production volumes making it a more rare model than other Victrolas. Extra needles and 78s are included.
