A hand-knotted Beshir-style Bokhara wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of raspberry, cobalt, ochre, cranberry, emerald, indigo, walnut, and rose. The bright raspberry hued field features an allover lattice design of floral motifs, palmettes, and rectilinear forms. Framing the field is a main crab border, along with two styles of running dog borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool kilim skirt with wool warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
