A grouping of three 19th century hardcover books on Mammoth Caves in Kentucky. Titles include a signed and inscribed by the senior author, an 1897 edition of Mammoth Cave an Illustrated Manual by Horace Carter Hovey, A.M., D.D. and Richard Ellsworth Call, A.M. PH.D, published in Louisville by John P. Morton and Company. The inscription appears on the front end paper reads, ‘With compliments of the senior author, Horace Carter Hovey, North Hampton, Mass, December 31, 1900.’ Also included is an 1844 edition of Rambles in the Mammoth Cave During the Year 1844 by ‘A Visitor’, published by Morton & Griswold, Louisville, KY and an 1882 Celebrated American Caverns: Especially Mammoth, Wyandot and Luray by Horace C. Hovey, with maps and illustrations. Published in Cincinnati by Robert Clarke & Co.

Condition
The Mammoth Cave of Kentucky is in good shape, with some yellowing and foxing. The Celebrated American Caverns has a torn title page , loose spine and a small amount of yellowing and foxing. The Rambles in the Mammoth Cave some foxing and yellowing.
