A vintage, hand-knotted Persian Serapi Heriz area rug. This wool rug features a center medallion and hanging pendants on a lozenge-shaped field, with cream colored spandrels, in a palette of sage, scarlet, plum, gold, royal blue and, indigo. The field is framed by a compound border with white fringe to the far ends. The rug is unmarked.
