5' x 8' Vintage Hand-Knotted Persian Yalameh Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Yalameh area rug in wool. This rug is rendered in a palette of reds and oranges, with areas of ivory and a host of accent colors. It begins with an ivory central medallion nestled into a larger medallion of blue grey. The field, which is in a rust color, is densely patterned with floral and geometric forms and has notched borders, which offset a quartet of corner medallions of the same color and design as the central medallion. The rug has a compound border in a coordinating color scheme. The rug finishes at either end with natural warp fringe to either end. The rug is unmarked.
