Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian pictorial Qum prayer rug. The finely woven wool pile rug features a maroon center field with one-directional design including a floral urn, a decorative pendant, two columns that conclude in decorative foliate motif in spandrels, and compound border with column and floral patterns In a palette of navy, tan, steel blue, cream and rust. The rug has cropped natural cotton warp fringe and is unsigned.
