A handmade copper token with inset Union officer’s portrait print. Lot includes a privately issued copper token that features a heraldic eagle surrounded by stars and mark ‘HM’ (Hoffman Mint) under the eagle. The other side of the token features a sepia-tone portrait print of a Civil War era Union officer. Diameter: 26.7 mm. Weight: 6 grams. Token is in good condition.
