An antique engraving on paper titled St. Stephen’s Chapel in the Cathedral Vienna by British printmaker Ebenezer Challis (fl. 1836-1864) after a drawing by British artist William Henry Bartlett (1809-1854). This print depicts the titular cathedral with high, vaulted ceilings and grand window casting light over the altar and parishioners gathered for prayer. It is titled to the lower center and has the artist’s names to the lower corners. This print is presented behind a mat and glass in a wood frame with wire to the verso for hanging.

- accretion throughout; tonal variations and discoloration to paper; warping to mat and paper; surface wear to frame.
