A hand-knotted Chinese wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, sage, powder blue, rose, apricot, pale yellow, and wheat. The ivory colored field begins with a central rosette with radiating leaves and flowering vines throughout forming a symmetrical design. Framing the field is a main palmette patterned meander border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. This rug is unlabeled.
