Item Details
A finely hand-knotted Persian wool and silk room sized rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of indigo, cranberry, slate blue, camel, ivory, sage, tangerine, carnation, and sepia. The indigo colored field features an overall floral theme including a round medallion comprised of branched floral elements, as well as flower filled vases, sprays, and bouquets throughout. Similar designs flow to the cranberry grounded main border forming medallions, as well as multiple floral meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a fine silk warp fringe to the ends. The underside offers vinyl bands, and it is unlabeled.
