Antique Handmade Red And Cream Quilt

Item Details

An antique red and cream handmade quilt created in a Four Point Star design variation with hourglass details. The quilt consists of sixteen large blocks each having a four point star to the center with red and cream triangle hourglass pattern within and smaller red and cream squares to the corners. It has red sashing and Diamond in a Square cornerstones. The fabrics used throughout the front and the back have subtle printed patterns. It is hand stitched and finished with red binding and cream backing.

Condition

- poor, fabric is yellowed and shows small holes throughout from wear and some brown spots. There are repaired patches to the back.
